redecorating by dog

I don't have human children to talk about so I will show you what my big dog, did to my freshly made bed! I spent all day cleaning putting away Christmas items, and changing to my winter bedroom decor, I went back a hour or so later, when I missed the big lug, and there he was in the middle of the bed . {note the cat is in this shot, she was on the bed also]

He made himself quite comfortable, on the toile pillows, he had to rest his head, it gets so heavy.

He is ten years old and runs our lives, he is at my elbow now telling me he's starving, so I guess I better go feed him! Hope you enjoyed seeing Zoobie in his element.

He was from Giant Schnauzer resue, we got him when he was 7 weeks old weighed 17 pounds, he is a most likely, a mix of Irish Wolf Hound and Giant Schnauzer, he is much larger than the standards of the GS.

He may be one if the sweetest animals, I have ever known he has no malice, everyone to him is a potential head scratcher.

Good shots, kiddo. He is a great dog. I'm so-so about the cat. I'm more of a dog person.

Trash, I got the bed at Canton, it was a gaudy green and gold! You wouldnt belive what a can of black spray paint does for green velvet!

Must've been the day for redoing and cleaning the bedroom, I even got to hang out the sheets and quilt, it got up to 37 degrees...woohoo! And yes, Scratchy was the first thing to grace my clean bed...after all, she is the queen and the bed, one of her throwns.

Hey girl, have a wonderful New Year...PEACE...and we'll see ya next year!!!

My 7 year old human child said this morning to my 8 month old puppy child, "You need to do something with your hair! You're NOT cute with that messy nest!" I'm not sure who had messier hair at that moment. Miah wakes up with big 80's hair every morning. LOL

Wishing you lots of fun days with your "children" =) New Year Blessings.. Polly

We have Shih Tzu's ~ Loads of hair everywhere!

Yes, I noticed a few months ago that I was waking up in the night from being hot. DANG! 39 and hitting menopause already. There should be more time between having babies and "the change"! LOL... sorta =}

Happy New Year! Your "little" guy is adorable. Last night my husband and I contorted ourselves around our canine bedmates because once they flop down they are immovable. BTW, beautiful bed and bedspread!

Love the dog! Thanks for the nice comment on my blog about the store, I appreciate it. At least weather is always changing(or suppose to) and I'm waiting for it to warm up a bit here! Carlsbad is a beautiful place, especially their little Old Towne area and so close to the beach. I'll be checking back soon, take care, Sue
